La Croix de Garde

In 1960, André took over his parents' farm on the Ardèche plateau. He is one of the first to plant syrah between the hill of the Hermitage and the vertiginous slopes of Cornas.

Pierre Blanche

Michel and Xavier created the Domaine de Pierre Blanche at the end of the 80s on the foothills of the Pilat massif. After being cleared and planted, the estate has 16 hectares of Côte Rôtie, Condrieu, St Joseph and IGP.

Les Galets Pourpres

This estate nestled at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail is the result of three generations of collaboration with the Mourier estates. The soils that make it give wines with purple reflections.

Lou Gaëlou

In 1920, Paul created the Lou Gaëlou estate, not far from Avignon. He met Prospère, the first winemaker of the MOURIER family. This will be the beginning of a long and beautiful collaboration between Domaine Lou Gaëlou and Domaines Mourier

Family history

1870 
Stanislas

Stanislas bought wine mainly in the south of the Rhone Valley, which he sold to the Rhône Alpes region after bottling. The main clientele? The bistros of Saint-Etienne with their miners.

1903
Prosper

Prosper is the first winemaker in the family. He built a very modern cellar for the time, the first to count the estates.

1925
Michel

Michel will partner with a family in Lirac to produce the wines of the Lou Gaëlou estate.

1960
Joannes

Looking for new discoveries, Joannes will create a partnership with a domain of the Vaucluse, Les Galets Pourpres

1980
Michel

While conducting his trading activities, Michel decided to buy his first plots in 1980, betting on the appellation Saint-Joseph. It is the birth of the Domaine de Pierre Blanche in Chavanay.

2000
Xavier

Xavier actively participated in the creation of the estate of Pierre Blanche then expanded it into St Joseph and Condrieu. He becomes a winemaker in Côte Rôtie and takes over part of La Croix de Garde.
