NORTHERN RHONE APPELLATIONS
The Appellations
Rhône Valley
NORTH
The Xavier Mourier estates produce wines from the Rhône Valley North. Among the appellations, we find the Côte-Rôtie, Saint Joseph, Condrieu, Cornas, Crozes-Hermitage and Hermitage.
AOP Saint-Joseph Rouge
Produced on the right bank of the Rhône, in the communes of Malleval, Chavanay and Saint Pierre de Boeuf, these 100% Syrah wines are vinified and aged differently. Thus, each wine has a power and varied aromas, forming a complementary range.
AOP Saint-Joseph Blanc
Balanced and greedy, Résurgence has a beautiful yellow color with green reflections. On the palate, it is an aromatic and elegant wine with notes of apricot, hawthorn, green coffee and honeysuckle. This wine was rated in the 2024 edition of the Hachette Vins Guide, winning the Coup de Coeur of the Jury.
Our AOP Hermitage
Hermitage Les Rouies is a powerful and fleshy red wine, from Syrah, produced on a steep hill in Tain. The traditional vinification includes a cuvaison and an aging of 18 months. Perfumed with violets, spices and blackcurrants, it becomes more flexible over time, for a potential of about 20 years.
Our AOP Cornas
Produced at domaine de la Croix de Garde
Cornas La Lauzière, 100% Syrah, is produced on steep south-facing slopes, protected by a natural amphitheatre. Traditionally vinified, this rich and dark wine has aromas of black fruits and pepper. Powerful and well-built, it has a 20-year potential for storage.
